- Customize your learning with 35+ electives across master programs in areas of general management, entrepreneurship, and innovation, plus the optional Finance and Investment Certificate.
- Expand your perspective through internships in Germany or abroad and semester exchanges at leading partner schools.
- Build professional skills through seminars (mandatory in year one and optional in year two) covering topics such as leadership, analytics project management, and talent management.

Am I a good "fit" for the MAAI?
ESMT's MAAI is a personalized degree for high-potential candidates with little or no previous work experience.
The qualities we are looking for in our applicants are:

- Knowledge and understanding of emerging technologies
- A desire for continuous learning opportunities
What are the MAAI application requirements?
The requirements for applying to ESMT’s MAAI program are:
- A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent
- Evidence of strong quantitative skills - depending on your profile, you may be required to take the BAT or GMAT/GRE test) Proof of English proficiency (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS) or graduating from a university program taught in English
- Completed application, including essays and one recommendation
- Ideally, applicants to the MAAI program will have between 0-3 years of post-graduate work experience. Applicants with up to five years of post-graduate work experience will be considered for admission on a case-by-case basis, following assessment and alignment of their academic and professional goals to the respective program.
Can I apply before receiving my bachelor's degree?
Yes, applications are encouraged from final-year undergraduate students awaiting completion of their degree. However, a grade overview or transcripts must be included with the application.
What kind of scholarships are available for MAAI applicants?
Scholarships are offered to accepted students with outstanding academic merit and leadership potential. To apply for a scholarship, you should complete the proper essay included in the online application form, and indicate your suitability for a scholarship.
The scholarships offered in ESMT cover partial tuition fees. Most of our students cover the costs of their studies with a mix of scholarships, loans, and personal savings.

Does ESMT offer on-campus housing?
ESMT offers student accommodation in 7 shared flats near campus, just a 10-min walk away.
Full-time ESMT students can apply for single or double rooms in the shared flats – each fully furnished and equipped with WIFI. For more information on ESMT student accommodation, click here. As there are limited rooms available, please also consider other housing options.
